Tignes ski resort recommended for snow by Daily Telegraph

Posted by Bobby Wilson On November - 4 - 2009

ski-resortPredicting snowfall is notoriously difficult, but even so, the forecasts for this coming ski season aren’t looking good. With that in mind, the Daily Telegraph has formed a list of ski resorts where you’re most likely to find snow.

Among the list is Tignes, which is selected because of its altitude and the predictability of its snowfall. Combined with Val d’Isere, because of their shared ski area, the top lift is 3,456m high for these resorts and indeed you can ski on the glacier for all bar two months of the year. Both resorts are due to open on the last weekend of this month, so you can book for Tignes now, safe in the knowledge that there’ll be good skiing from December onwards.
