While many ski resorts have been graced with large quantities of early season snow, the resorts of Alpe d’Huez and Les Deux Alpes are lagging behind.
Nevertheless, snow has fallen, even if it’s only a scattering in the towns themselves. They might not be opening for skiing early this year, but heavier snowfall on the slopes at higher altitudes indicate that the official opening date of 28th of November in Les Deux Alpes should be about right while Alpe d’Huez should be open a week later.
