While the US President can never fully get away from the pressures of office, Barack Obama and his family have nevertheless taken their first holiday, heading to Hawaii.
Information as to what Barack Obama might do during his holiday is almost laughably vague, with comments such as that he ‘might’ enjoy some outdoor activity. Certainly, he will be carrying out some work each day, giving an insight into the constant pressures of a job from which he can never truly escape while in office.
The Obamas are staying on the island of Oahu, on Kailua beach.
