Even in the daylight months, there’s still something faintly depressing about Greenland. It’s a vestige of the winter months, I guess. It’s hard to shake off that level of pessimism and misery. Plus the place is largely deserted and it’s hard to avoid the feeling that life’s going on elsewhere.
That’s not to say that there’s no good places to have a beer though. There’s always somewhere good to have a beer. Greenland doesn’t lack for scenery – just light and optimism.
