“If I had a nickel for every abandoned wheelchair and unused fast pass that littered the area…”

It seems that there are people at Walt Disney World who use wheelchairs purely because they’re fat and lazy and when they can’t get across an area, they just get up.

Who uses a wheelchair purely through sloth? I had no idea this happened. Although if I’d had an inkling, I probably would have picked Walt Disney World as being the place where it would happen.

Even in the daylight months, there’s still something faintly depressing about Greenland. It’s a vestige of the winter months, I guess. It’s hard to shake off that level of pessimism and misery. Plus the place is largely deserted and it’s hard to avoid the feeling that life’s going on elsewhere.

That’s not to say that there’s no good places to have a beer though. There’s always somewhere good to have a beer. Greenland doesn’t lack for scenery – just light and optimism.

Trip Advisor user iowagal20 once had a beautiful dream:

“We had originally planned to hold our wedding in Disney, but now…”

What? What could possibly have happened to make iowagal20 change their mind? Did their 15th birthday bring some sort of clarity and enlightenment? Did they see Walt Disney World as the shabby, hollow, cynical money-making shodfest it really is?

No. Iowagal20 changed their mind because…

“It’s obvious they don’t run back-ground checks on their employees, and we are no longer comfortable asking all of our friends and family to travel there only to put their possessions and identities at such obvious risk.”

Iowagal20 concludes:

“Disney is no longer the wholesome, family destination it once was. Now, I think of it only as a criminal breeding ground where employees swap scams like the inmates of a prison.”

Trip Advisor user happydude76 has given Walt Disney World, Florida a one star review. What could possibly have been so bad as to justify a damning one star review?

“People! When you enter Disney World through the Western gate or if you are otherwise on Western Way watch out for speed traps! As a local this is where I enter into Disney and it is nice and quiet road but has the Orange County Sheriff Office handing out speeding tickets. The road could handle traffic easily at 65 MPH but the limit is 45 MPH and over the “bridge” it is 35 MPH, this is where they get you so be careful.”

I think I’m possibly most scared by the inverted commas around ‘bridge’.

Some people should really think long and hard about where they choose to go on holiday. Take Trip Advisor user DT0wn for example. DT0wn should really have thought about what their trip to Walt Disney World might entail.

“Disney Characters, I think are very lame. I mean who wants to see a bunch of mouses running around? Not my cup of tea.”

All my staff will tell you what a laid-back kind of guy I am. Sure, I work hard and I play harder, but I’m basically pretty laid-back, so long as you always, always hit your sales targets.

Being so laid-back, I always enjoy a stay at the Grand Wakikian Hilton in Hawaii. The cold, clinical interior is so relaxing and you get a real feel for life on this small island.

However, they can be a bit backwards. Last time I stayed, the guy on the front desk had the cheek to offer me a copied Mont Blanc pen to sign with. I don’t have any copied, knock-off stuff and I made a big point of getting out my own genuine Mont Blanc pen and brandishing it in front of him.

That wiped the smile off his cheap knock-off face. God I’m awesome.

Don’t as me. Ask Trip Advisor user lizardzx:

“The ride was very short and out of the 12 people on the ride only two got wet. My special needs daughter was very upset because she did not get wet.”

Only a sixth of the people got wet. A sixth! That’s not even a quarter. If three people had got wet, it would have been just about okay – as long as one of them had special needs.
